The Gundam SEED OVA takes place presumeably several weeks or perhaps several months after the ending of the SEED series. It is basically an
add-on to the series which gives a basic atmosphere of the events which took place after the series. Nothing very new, however, the
characters seem to have longer hair and is somewhat more of a calm environment. I have translated the Japanese name to English myself,
in the release that I made, I gave it a slightly different name, however, the general idea is still the same.
